My stAy was great. I just wished there was more closet space.
It was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean and nice, with lots of good amenities. The breakfast was top notch. The staff were very helpful in getting tours and tickets booked.
Beautifully decorated, very comfortable room. A beautiful bathtub for soaking after a long hot day.
Small Double-Very Small.Minibar noted in room included-no minibar?Fridge not very cold.Bath plug kept allowing water to escape-even after attention by staff.Breakfast room-only one coffee machine working and lack of cups 2 out of 3 mornings.Breakfast staff nice-but seemed rushed.Reception staff good, but didnt seem too interested in the bath/fridge issue. Hotel in excellent position, for train and for walking around to the attractions.Price as originally quoted.
V. Good hotel, great location. Would definitely stay again
Very friendly and helpful staff, hotel well situated for most tourist attractions. Good breakfast selection, buffet ample allowing you to get a good start to the day. Hotel clean and towel changed daily if required. Several very good restaurants nearby.
Lovely hotel in a fantastic location, close enough to walk to many of the famous sights in Florence. Friendly staff; receptionists were extremely helpful & able to offer advice on the best places & restaurants to visit. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent!
Thank you very much. everything was great!
I had a very pleasant stay, I recommend this hotel, well placed within a few minutes we are in the heart of the center of Florence, very good Breakfast and the rooms are nice and clean.
They lady on the front desk was fantastic, very friendly and full of advice about where we should go during our stay. Lovely clean room, and the breakfast was very good. This hotel will stay in my memory forever especially as my other half proposed to me here!
Spacious room, great furniture in Italian style. Delicious breakfast with a great variety. Staff - very polite. If I visit Florence again I will definitely book this hotel again.
Great staff, good cleaning conditions, excellent environment, regular breakfast. Great value for the money.
Hearing from other rooms
As you enter the calm and well appointed lobby of the Hotel Atlantic Palace, you cannot help but notice the stark contrast to the busy scenes of the streets outside. The small street, typical of Florence, was bustling with vendors, scooters, busses and cars - which makes you even more appreciate the warm welcome of the Hotel Atlantic staff. The bustle of the street is a minor consequence of being located within walking distance to Firenze Sta. Lucia Novella train station - close enough to be a convenient walk even with suitcases, but far enough so that it’s somewhat insulated from the chaos of a main transport hub. The staff greeted us with friendly smiles, checking us in with efficiency and friendliness. After navigating to our room (and managing a few sets of steps on our floor), we were pleasantly surprised to find we had been placed in a corner room, isolated from the normal traffic in hotel hallways. The room was very spacious for the price range, having a small sitting / desk area followed by the bedroom itself. The bathroom though on the smaller side, was more than adequate, clean and functional. The bed and pillows beckon you, ready to refresh tired bodies after a long journey or a full day of sight seeing. They also provided a mobile phone, and encouraged you to take it with you (4G data included) as an electronic tour guide. We didn’t need to take advantage of this thoughtful addition, as our own mobiles were more than sufficient. It is an excellent idea though, and representative of the progressiveness of the hotel. Breakfast was a full blown affair, with a wide selection of savour to sweet offerings, including freshly made pancakes off an automated contraption. The highlight were the croissants, which were fresh and warm, inviting you to pair them with a number of different jams and preserves. Getting to and from the major sights of Florence was a breeze. The Duomo is a short walk away, and you get to pass through street vendors and the Mercato, tempting you with their wares. Trattorias, restaurants and cafes are peppered all around the hotel that you will be spoilt for choice. Hotel Atlantic Palace is definitely a hotel we will be going back to. Wonderful staff, spacious rooms, hearty breakfasts, and ideally located.
At first we were given a room next to the elevevator; so we could. It sleep due to the traffic of people and the lift going up and down. However the next day we requested to be moved to a quieter room and we were to a very nice room with a lovely view . For that we thank you ! It completely changed our holiday ! The staff were very pleasnt and the breakfast was also very nice. The staff at the breakfast were also very polite and pleasant. I would recommended this hotel. But just not the room we stayed in first. Perhaps they can sound proof it some how. It would give the guest a good night hope sleep.
The only negative thing I could say is that the entrance lobby is not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. We booked for 3 nights. View of the Duomo as requested. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Great location Very close direct walk to train station and tour collection busses. Couldn’t believe how close it was to the Duomo itself and Florence attractions are so close and it’s a really easy city to get around we were so pleased with the hotel that when we came back from Pisa and Cinque Terra we stayed in the Atlantic Palace again
Nice size of room and very close to the centre. good choice of breakfast
Lovely room, helpful staff, convenient location, good breakfast. We hope to return!
Enjoyed my stay in this well maintained and immaculate hotel. Courteous employees and a very nice breakfast. Highly recommended.
Quirky, fun, very clean hotel. Love the linen. Excellent location.
