Virtue of Love. Bridal painting in fifteenth-century Florence

From June 7 to 1 November 2010, will be held in Florence at the Accademia Gallery, the exhibition Virtue of Love. Bridal painting in fifteenth-century Florence. The exhibition evokes, through the exhibition of more than 40 tablets of the fifteenth century from prestigious Italian and foreign museums, married life in the Renaissance, the roles in marriage and in particular the role of women in the home, attitudes and exemplary conduct which recommended as essential virtues of love.
